Lip Blushing
Lip blushing is a cosmetic procedure that typically lasts 1-4 years. Just like microblading, is a semi-permanent tattoo that will enhance the color and shape of your lips giving them a natural fuller look.

Make it
The semi-permanent makeup produced uses tiny needles with a machine to pixelate your lips. The color is layered to make it look natural. The procedure creates fuller, fresh looking color.

Shape it
Are your lips even? Do they lack the fullness they once had? Lip blush can slightly alter the color and shape of your lips to make you look younger with fuller lips! Lip blushing can also help add symmetry to your lips.
1-2 Weeks Before
Cold sores are a risk of any lip produce. If you have had cold sores in the past, we advise to get anti-viral medication before your procedure to help avoid an outbreak. Also, Continue medication 2-4 days post procedure.
We highly recommend anti-viral medication (400 or 800 mg): 4/5 days prior to the treatment, on the day of the treatment and 3-4 days after the treatment). Cold sores are typical reaction in permanent makeup of the lips.
Lips can NOT be dry for the appointment. A week leading up to your session hydrate, exfoliate, and moisturize as much as possible.
LIP BLUSH AFTERCARE
After treatment lips will be swollen and feel dry
Ice following the procedure helps prevent swelling and bruising, a cloth barrier between the lips and ice is necessary
Apply ointment several times a day for at least 14 days
Do not allow lips to become dehydrated, that will interfere with desired color
During the day if lips feel dry, and before bed, apply a liberal amount of lip ointment
Always use a clean Q-tip, not fingers to apply ointment to lips to reduce risk of infection
During the healing process it is normal for lips to become dry and flaky. Please DO NOT PICK or scratch at them. This will significantly reduce the amount of pigment absorptions.
Lip retouch must be scheduled 30-45 day from the initial session to help retain color
Be sure to use sunblock once your lips have healed
** Smokers**
Do not smoke for at least 12 hours after procedure. Smoking will deposit brown spots onto the lip blush. Vape is a lip blush safe alternative

After the procedure, lips may develop bruises or swelling, but should typically fade within 24 hours. To prevent excessive scabbing, it’s essential to clear away lymph fluid from the skin’s surface. If you notice any dry lymph on your lips before bedtime, rinse them with lukewarm water, delicately remove the dry lymph, pat them dry, and then apply the post-care lip healing balm. Make sure to use the lip balm for at least one full skin cycle (around 21 to 28 days) during the healing process. You can also continue using it daily to enhance pigment retention, maintain healthy lip tissue, and enjoy anti-aging benefits.

Swelling of the lips might persist on the second day. It’s crucial to maintain moisture in the skin to prevent the lips from becoming dry. Apply the ointment or balm every 30 minutes throughout the day, ensuring the lips stay hydrated. Please refrain from evaluating your lips procedure until they completely heal which typically lasts 6-8 weeks.

Do NOT:
Pick at scabs
Apply any products to lips until scabs and flakes have naturally healed
Expose your lips to sun, sauna, steam, or engage in vigorous exercise or combat sports
Eat spicy, oily, salty or acidic foods
Kiss or apply intense pressure to lips

Lip blush procedures do take slightly longer than other treatments as the lips are more prone to swelling during treatment. If this should occur, swelling will quickly fade and will disappear completely witting 3-5 days.
Expect the procedure to take 2-3 hours

You may encouter mild swelling, itching, light scabbing, bruising, and a sensation of dry tightness. For relief an ice pack with a cloth barrier can be soothing. To address scabbing and tightness, aftercare ointments are effective.
It’s common to observe a darker and slightly uneven appearance immediately after the procedure. However, within 2-7 days, the darkness should fade, and as swelling subsides, the unevenness typically disappears. Any necessary adjustments can be made during the touch up appointment.
You may also notice changes in color or some color loss during the healing process. As the lips heal, the color will lighten, and in some areas, it may appear to fade. This issue can be addressed at the tough up. underscoring the importance in a touch up. Healing takes about 4 weeks to see results

Lip Blushing falls under the category of permanent makeup or “cosmetic tattooing.” While the pigment remains in your skin indefinitely, it will naturally fade over time. To maintain the desired look, we recommend scheduling a touch up every 2-4 years.
